Add impressive flair to your next cocktail with tea-infused vodka. Use any tea you like. Exotic flavors are a fun way to add excitement to cocktails. Always be sure your teas are gluten free and allergen free.
Ingredients
1½ cups good quality vodka (I use a potato-based vodka, but you can use any vodka you like.)
1 Tablespoon loose leaf tea of your choice (I used Mango Ambrosia White Tea from Tealish.)
Instructions
In your tea infuser, combine vodka with tea.
Allow this to steep for at least 2 hours (you can even leave it overnight like I do for a more intense “tea” flavor).
After steeping, there will be small bits of tea in your vodka.
To get rid of those tiny particles, straining is necessary.
Place a funnel fitted with a coffee filter over a carafe (or other glass container where you plan to store your infused vodka. (You will need to fold the coffee filter over for the right fit in the funnel).
Once vodka is strained into your carafe, cover and store at room temperature until ready to use.
